In searching for other information, I happened onto your site and was delighted to see the headstone of the brother of my great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather John L'Hommedieu Sr. Thank you!!

The web page is enchanting. It's nice to read good things about our little town rather than the negative comments I read in the local papers. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could do something about changing the old police station into a community/senior center. Perhaps a small canteen, kiosks in the summer displaying works of local artisans?

I just stumbled onto this website, what a beautiful way to enliven your town, performing the role of newspaper in such an enticing way. The photos of Indian River Cemetery are just wonderful. You might take a look at findagrave.com--anyone can upload photos there and perhaps some folks might appreciate having their ancestors' graves documented. Zenfolio, the word really sums it up!
